Common questions
How do I get room temperature and humidity?
Connect a compatible Bluetooth Low Energy temperature and humidity sensor, or add a manual reading from a separate thermometer in the Thermometer tab. The iPhone itself does not directly measure room temperature. The acoustic method is an experimental estimate; its accuracy depends on the room and measurement conditions.
My sensor is not connecting
Check the sensor battery, keep it near your device and make sure Bluetooth is on. In iOS Settings, check that ThermoWeather is allowed to use Bluetooth. Support depends on the sensor model and firmware. If it still does not connect, email us the model and firmware version, if known.
I purchased Plus, but the features are locked
Use Restore Purchases on the Plus purchase screen or the subscription screen in the app's Settings. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account used for the purchase and have an internet connection. Apple's purchase restoration guide.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, then select ThermoWeather. You can also open Apple subscription management. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple's cancellation guide.
The weather is not loading or looks out of date
Check your internet connection and selected city, then refresh the forecast. You can choose a city manually without giving location permission. Some data sources have limited coverage, and not every location has marine, pollen or official warning data. If the problem continues, contact us with the affected screen and the time of the problem.
How do I change my privacy choices?
In version 1.0.17 and later, open Settings → Privacy → Your privacy choices to change optional usage analytics and crash reports. Advertising privacy choices and iOS permissions are managed separately. See the Privacy Policy for details.
